Setup

Stagger cones in a zig-zag from baseline to baseline.

How it works

  1. 1Dribble at speed to the first cone with your outside hand.
  2. 2Plant, change direction with a crossover and push to the next cone.
  3. 3Repeat to the end of the court and jog back.
  4. 4Use a different move each trip: crossover, between the legs, behind the back, spin.

Coaching points

  • โœ”Change of pace beats change of direction alone.
  • โœ”Stay low as you plant.

Variations

  • Add a defender (1-on-1 zig-zag) who can only slide.
